Four years ago I embarked on a journey that I would consider my highlight of being an artist (to date). I had the opportunity to represent the country as the lone Filipino finalist for an International Art Awards. I was competing with established artists all around the globe across a variety of art media.

The road to the venue, OXO Tower, South Bank, London was a long one. I had to take a 41-hour trip and four airports just to get there. Here are some photos while I was in transit en-route to Heathrow Airport.
